Frisco Independent School District will welcome a new superintendent in June 2026: Dr. Todd Fouche. He has worked in education for many years, and will take over leadership of the district after serving in several positions throughout his career. As the new superintendent, Fouche will be in charge of one of the largest school districts in North Texas.
Before stepping into this role, Fouche built a long background in education. He began his career teaching science to middle school students before moving into administration. Over time, he worked as an assistant principal, principal, and district leader. His experiences give him a broad understanding of how schools work and what students and teachers need.
Fouche also has a strong academic background. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. Later, he completed a masters degree in education and an educational doctorate from the University of North Texas.
As superintendent, Fouche will be responsible for leading a district that serves thousands of students across Frisco. His role includes working with school board members, supporting teachers and staff, and helping guide district policies.
Understanding the superintendent’s experience can help students learn more about the leadership behind district-wide decisions. Because Frisco ISD affects schools across the community, changes in leadership can eventually influence policies, programs, and opportunities available to students.
With Dr. Todd Fouche beginning his role in June 2026, Frisco ISD enters a new chapter of leadership. As he takes over the district, students, parents, and staff will likely watch to see what priorities and goals he brings to Frisco schools.
